BELPAW did not begin as an idea. It began with Bella, and with everything I enjoyed, learned, and changed because of her.
Bella was my first German Shepherd. She was strength, intelligence, companionship, and the kind of presence that changes the entire feeling of a home.
She came into my life at a time when I needed more than companionship. Little by little, she changed the way I thought, the way I lived, and the way I understood what it truly meant to share my life with a dog.
With her, I discovered the most beautiful side of that experience: the walks, the play, the connection, the feeling of home that grows when a dog truly trusts you. But I also came to understand daily responsibility, consistency, important decisions, and the quiet truth that they depend on you for everything.
Bella taught me that living with a dog is about far more than sharing space. It is about learning how to care, how to observe, how to anticipate needs, and how to build routines that create security. It is about responding with patience, respect, and steadiness. It is about being worthy of a bond that gives itself completely.
And yes, she was a German Shepherd. That means living with a sharp mind, unusual sensitivity, and a daily demand for consistency. Through her, I learned that dogs — especially the intense and deeply sensitive ones — do not need perfection. They need clarity, routine, security, and a calm, steady energy.
Since 2020, I had the privilege of being by her side through her final years, day after day. And it was there, almost without intending to, that everything BELPAW is today began to take shape.
This is my most meaningful project. A space I return to every day to shape everything I have lived and learned into something genuinely useful for people who want to care for and live with their dogs with more clarity, more intention, and more calm.
BELPAW was born from Bella, and from the mark she left on the way I care for, choose for, and live with a dog. It comes from a way of life she taught me: move through life with more calm, choose with more care, and love wholeheartedly. Most of all, it comes from understanding that dogs give us an absolute kind of loyalty, and that loyalty deserves attention, consistency, and a real, steady presence in return.
Here, I share practical, thoughtful content: clear guides, product recommendations that truly add value, habits that improve everyday life, and useful ideas for walks, safety, hygiene, nutrition, and training. Everything comes from the reality of living it, day by day.
BELPAW also brings together two parts of my life that matter deeply to me: my love for animals and a professional background shaped by years in technology and artificial intelligence.
When applied well, technology can do a great deal for their well-being and for your peace of mind. It can help you stay on top of vaccines, deworming, appointments, medication, and routines. It can support better buying decisions. It can help you notice patterns in sleep, walks, eating habits, and behavior.
That is why technology has a place in BELPAW only when it truly helps: to care better, choose more wisely, and make everyday life a little easier and calmer.
Bella was the beginning of all of this. And although her presence is different now, her imprint is still here every day — in the way I write, in what I choose to share, and in the intention behind everything I build through this project.
BELPAW is my tribute to her. It is also an invitation to live this experience in a more grounded, thoughtful, and well-supported way.
Because living with an animal changes the way you move through the world. It brings you back to the present. It teaches you patience, loyalty, and sensitivity. And it leaves a mark worth honoring.
